BJC HealthCare celebrated the opening of Evelyn’s House with a ribbon cutting June 16, 2017. The new hospice house in Creve Coeur, Missouri, offers compassionate end-of-life care for adult and children hospice patients and their families.

Party Patrol volunteers plan memorable days for Wings families as part of the Friends of Wings “Joyful Celebrations” program. They arranged a Six Flags trip that a Wings patient and her  family would remember forever.

As part of BJC Hospice’s Joyful Celebrations program, Party Patrol volunteers plan memorable days for Wings families when they see a need, such as when a mom needs a break from her hectic schedule. 

Dave Barkey has volunteered with BJC Hospice since 2013. He was nominated for the Missouri Hospice and Palliative Care Association (MHPCA) Heart of the Hospice patient care volunteer award. 

Patrick White, MD, has joined the BJC Hospice team as chief medical officer (CMO). He was the co-chief medical officer of the University of Pittsburgh’s affiliated hospice in 2013, where he served as an inpatient medical director and participated in outpatient care teams.
