Since Evelyn's House opened, the hospice team has cared for more than 4,000 patients and their loved ones.

The team at Evelyn’s House, BJC’s hospice house, strives to provide a welcoming home for all who stay there, and a local business recently helped with that goal, in appreciation for a family member’s care.

Each year in June, Morgan Stanley, an American multinational investment bank and financial services company, holds Global Volunteer Month, an opportunity for staff to come together as a firm and give back in their communities around the world through volunteering.

Just outside the front door of Evelyn’s House is the busy, noisy, sometimes chaotic construction site for the Barnes-Jewish West County replacement hospital. But step inside, and you can almost feel the tranquility.
