General Grief Support Groups
“I looked forward to the sessions and being able to share my thoughts and feelings while knowing that no one would be judgmental or unkind.”
Latoya, participant
Grief support groups can be a doorway to hope, even when hope might seem unimaginable. They can bring comfort through the connection with others who have been through a similar loss and are confronting the resulting challenges and opportunities. Participants can find support and encouragement through sharing their stories and knowing they are not alone.
Our groups are facilitated by professional bereavement staff from BJC Hospice. They are open to anyone in the community, not just those served by BJC Hospice, and they are offered at no cost due to generous individual and corporate donations from the communities we serve.
